It gives me great pleasure in *finally* letting everyone know our 2016 total. We raised an incredible £12,300 in 16 days. Our amount is displayed on the winning poster by Jemima Hall from Bledington School. Thank you once again to all of our supporters for their generosity and our volunteers for their time.
This year our Poppy Launch and HQ raised over £4000 and that is partly thanks to my Mum, Marj, for knitting and hand finishing 300 poppies. She started in May as a surprise for me when I arrived home and by the first week the 150 she had hand finished sold out. By the second week she was back to knitting to order as the other 150 sold out. (She will not appreciate me saying this...) If you didn't get an opportunity to buy one of her knitted poppies email me sarah@stowonthewoldpoppyappeal.com and we can send them to you via post.
Anyway thank you to you all and your individual postcards will be delivered in the next week or so. Sarah
