Miss Cheltenham, Sophie Lydia Smith, launches our Stow on the Wold Poppy Appeal 2014

Sophie Lydia Smith, Miss Cheltenham 2014, launched our Poppy Appeal in the town by selling the first poppy to our oldest volunteer Mr Bert England.
The launch was supported by members of The Rider's Branch. our Branch and Women's section. The turn out was immense and we raised an incredible £600 in 4 hours.
It was also an opportunity for us to say Thank you to businesses and individual collectors who were awarded for their long service and support.
Our Poppy HQ is open from tomorrow with an on-going tombola, organised by The Women's Section and we have lots of poppy merchandise available. Opening times may vary due to collectors in various places in the day, but usual hours will be 9-6pm. We look forward to seeing you.
