One hundred years ago, Britain and its empire declared war on Germany. From 2014 to 2018, across the world, nations, communities and individuals of all ages will come together to mark, commemorate and remember the lives of those who lived, fought and died in the First World War.
One of our first events to commemorate WW1 is the #PlantAPoppy event, which is taking place at Stow on the Wold Tesco's Green.
